We're super excited to announce the launch of Pickwatch Insights, a revolution in how you understand and optimize your own picks.

We're always working to bring you new tools to get ahead of the game, and Pickwatch Insights is our biggest, most accurate feature we have launched over the last 3 years.

What is Pickwatch Insights?

Pickwatch Insights is a pick analysis and optimization tool, that finds trends, strengths and weaknesses in your picks, and then shows you how to put them right.

How does it work?

Insights works by assessing how well you ordinarily pick a team in the conditions they face this week. We assess factors such as the teams, venue, spread, and opponent's record, and find the games that you've previously picked that are most relevant to the game you're picking now, and how you did.

For example, here's a real example from one user from week 1's games. This user is pretty good at picking the Packers generally, but has a poor recent record when they're facing similar scenarios to this week.

As we now know, this user would have gotten this pick right had they followed the advice of Insights.

Crucially, Insights does not always tell you to change your picks. Many factors, such as the game probability, expert consensus go into the recommendations, and if it's the best possible pick, you aren't going to be told to change it. The data has to be clear that there's an advantage to switching.

Why should I use Insights?

Because knowing more about your own pick trends and habits is essential to knowing whether you can trust your own instincts, or whether it's the right time to listen to an expert.

Insights learns as you pick, and also from the results of it's suggestions. The more data it has to analyze, the more it will identify your own personal trends. That's why you should make your picks on Pickwatch now, even if you're making them elsewhere too, only here can you get this kind of essential data.

Most of all, you should use it because in testing, it yielded significant benefits to the sample users we looked at.

How do I get access?

Insights is part of Pickwatch VIP, our exclusive top tier that already has thousands of users getting the best pick advice from Insights, chatting with our 2023 champion, and Upset Watch.

In addition, the first scheduled game of every week will be available for you to see free of charge.

What's next?

Insights is now released, but that's only v1.0 

The most important things we're adding will be other sports, particularly MLB, NHL and NBA. Beyond that, there are several other factors that will be added to calculations over coming weeks to make things more accurate. Weather, lineups, coaches, offensive rankings/defensive ranking matchups, and many more, will all play a role in helping you win.

Beyond that, we're also going to let you explore the data to an even greater degree, for example, letting you shift the parameters such as the spread around, or the temperature. Insights will over the course of this season develop into the ultimate tool for you to get the most from Pickwatch and win as many leagues, bets and contests as possible.
