It is hard to believe that we are already creeping up on basketball season. To me, it feels like just yesterday that the Golden State Warriors took down the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals.
Speaking of the Boston Celtics, they will enter the season with the highest projected win total at 54.5 according to Ceasers Sportsbook. Personally, I think that is a tad too high, but with a lot of smoke surrounding Kevin Durant's interest in playing in Boston (specifically with Marcus Smart), you may be able to grab some significant value here. Behind the Celtics are the Phoenix Suns at 53.5, and the Golden State Warriors and Milwaukee Bucks are tied for third with a projected 52.5 wins.
The NBA is in an interesting spot with a lot of Superstars displaying their displeasure in their current situations, including the pair of Durant and Kyrie Irving in Brooklyn (45.5 wins). There are likely going to be some significant roster shakeups for the top teams in the league, so bet on win totals with caution.
The season will tip off on Oct. 18, 2022, so you have plenty of time to wait for roster moves. If you decide to partake in a few win totals, we just ask that you do so responsibly.
