We have officially reached the halfway point of the NFL season, with close races within divisions and for wild-card spots, so the league could stay exciting until the final week. We saw some exciting matchups in Week 9, including the Broncos staging another late comeback, as they put up 11 points in the fourth quarter to beat the Texans with a last-second field goal. The Chiefs vs. Bills rivalry is always exciting, and once again, it was Buffalo that got the win in the regular season matchup, marking their fifth straight.

The AFC has two teams that continue to be a force. The Broncos have won six straight games, which has moved them into first place in the AFC West. One of the best stories is the Patriots, who have also won six straight. There is no rebuilding with Mike Vrabel as the head coach, and he has New England in first place in the AFC East, which includes a win over Buffalo.

The results of the matchup between the Chiefs and Bills had a significant impact on the NFL MVP race. With Buffalo winning, it pushed Josh Allen (+160) back into the top spot. This obviously brought Patrick Mahomes (+350) down to No. 2.
