Week 6 was another exciting week filled with games that came down to the last minute.

The Jets nearly secured their first win of the season, but Denver’s late fourth-quarter field goal left New York disappointed. In back-to-back weeks, the Dolphins held a late lead, but once again couldn’t maintain it; the Chargers kicked a walk-off field goal to win, and now Miami is 1-5. We also saw our first head coach relieved of his duties, as the Titans let go of Brian Callahan after going 4-18 in Tennessee.

The league is showing real parity, with a few teams looking fantastic in recent weeks. The Patriots have won three straight games and are now in first place in the AFC East. Three other teams also have three consecutive wins: the Broncos, Steelers, and Bears. A team that has looked great each week, and one of the biggest surprises of the season is the Colts. They have been one of the more balanced teams in the league, leading in points scored (32.3) and ranking fourth in points allowed (19.3).

The results from last week have changed the landscape of the NFL MVP race. With Josh Allen (+275) losing two straight, he has dropped to the second-best odds behind Patrick Mahomes (+200), who has led the Chiefs to three wins in their last four games. Not far off is Baker Mayfield (+325), who, despite injuries to several of his offensive playmakers, has led the Buccaneers to a 5-1 record.

NFL Week 7 Preview

Week 7 includes several matchups that could be exciting.

It begins on Thursday with an AFC matchup between the Steelers and Bengals. With all of its division rivals struggling, Pittsburgh has a chance to strengthen its hold on the division.

Sunday features several key matchups. Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel returns to Nashville to take on the Titans, whom he coached previously. The Eagles will try to snap their two-game losing streak, as they head to Minnesota to take on a Vikings defense that is top five in points and yards allowed. The Colts get a tough road test as they go to Los Angeles to take on the Chargers.

On Monday, we are treated to a double header that starts with two juggernauts of the NFC, as the Buccaneers head to the Motor City to take on the Lions. Then it concludes with the Texans trying to get their third straight win in Seattle as they battle the Seahawks.
