Detroit enters tonight’s primetime home game looking to reset after an uneven offensive performance last week, but they remain a top-tier unit in scripted drives and early-down efficiency. Jared Goff historically plays significantly better indoors, and Ford Field amplifies the Lions’ passing-game timing, pre-snap motion, and the explosive abilities of Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jahmyr Gibbs, and Sam LaPorta. The Lions’ offensive line is healthier than it has been in weeks, which is critical against Dallas’ speed-heavy front.

Dallas arrives riding an offense that has regained rhythm behind Dak Prescott’s strong intermediate passing and CeeDee Lamb’s heavy target volume. Indoors, the Cowboys’ offense typically accelerates — faster tempo, more empty sets, and deeper route concepts. Their defense, while still capable of elite disruption, has battled inconsistency in the secondary due to injuries and communication issues. Detroit will test that early with layered crossing routes and play-action seams.

Injuries factor into tonight’s matchup. Detroit remains thin in the secondary, which opens vulnerability against Dallas’ vertical passing concepts, particularly if Prescott gets clean pockets.
