1. BUF (=)

Well there it is. Buffalo finally won a one possession game. The defense was
outstanding in the second half and the best team in the league got a tough win in
Baltimore.

2. KC (+3)

Going into that game, Tampa had only allowed 27 total points all season. Kansas City
went in there and dropped 41, which is just what they always do in primetime games it
seems like.

3. PHI (=)

Like good teams are supposed to do, Philly took care of business against an inferior
opponent this week. The defense really shined, and they are now up to 3rd overall in
EPA/play allowed this season.

4. TB (=)

The 41-31 score wasn’t really indicative of the whooping that Kansas City gave them.
Tampa’s offense picked up at the end, but it was far too late to have any chance at
winning. Regardless, the WRs are getting healthy and the offense should improve in the
coming weeks.

5. GB (-3)

I know they won, but I came away less impressed by Green Bay than I was before the
game. There’s no excuse to go to overtime with Bailey Zappe on the opposing sideline. I
had high hopes for this Packers defense, but they haven’t been great so far this year.

6. SF (+5)

The Niners are back to form. The defense looks like the best in the league and the
offense just runs smoother with Jimmy G in there and he was pretty efficient on Monday
night.

7. LAR (=)

I’m not panicking on the Rams but they do need some offense that isn’t named Cooper
Kupp. This is the biggest 1-man show in the league and it really has not worked this year. Defense hasn’t been great either.

8. CIN (+2)

Like I said, there was no reason to panic on the Bengals after the 0-2. They’re slowly
climbing their way back and the offense is finding its rhythm.

9. BAL (-1)

Worst performance of the season so far for Lamar Jackson, and he was particularly bad
in the 2nd half and down the stretch, throwing a pick in the endzone on 4th down with
the game tied.

10. MIN (+2)

Minnesota moves up 2 spots, not because they were that impressive this week, but more
so because a couple of the teams in front of them moved down. The Vikings defense was supposed to be good this year but Andy Dalton gave them all they could handle.

11. LAC (+2)

Justin Herbert and the Chargers offense are back after a down week, although the
defense is still a concern. With all the injuries they have, LAC might not end up fulfilling
their potential as a Super Bowl contender and a legit threat to Kansas City in the West.

12. MIA (-6)

Miami moves down 6 spots after losing their starting QB. The defense has also not
looked as sharp, giving up 27 to the Bengals this week.

13. DEN (-4)

Probably the best showing of the year for the Broncos offense, but the defense had its
worst showing. Josh Jacobs ran all over them and head coach Nathaniel Hackett still
looks way in over his head.

14. ARI (+1)

Not the prettiest performance from Arizona against a bad Carolina team, but a win is a
win and they’ve now clawed back to 2-2, which is somehow tied for first in the division.
Kliff is probably still on the hot seat though.

15. LV (+4)

The Raiders are fine. There wasn’t any reason to flip out when they were 0-3 against a
hard schedule. As it lightens up moving forward, Vegas should end up being around a
.500 team.

16. JAX (=)

Credit to Jacksonville for staying in that game against a really good Eagles team, but
somebody please teach Trevor Lawrence how to play in the rain. He had 5 turnovers
and ranked as my 31st best QB performance of the week.

17. DAL (+4)

There’s still no QB controversy in Dallas, but Cooper Rush does look really solid. 3-0
with him as the starter, although I’m giving most of the credit to the defense. Right now
this is an average football team, and when Dak gets back I might jump them to around
the top 12 or so.

18. CLE (-4)

Cleveland had a chance to beat a bad Falcons team and go to 3-1 to take sole control of
the division, but instead they lost to Marcus Mariota and his 7 completions. I know they
were missing Myles Garrett, but the Browns defense needs to step up.

19. TEN (+3)

Okay so maybe the Titans aren’t dead after all. I think they should now be considered a
top 2 team in the division, although I still worry about their 30th-ranked defense

20. IND (-3)

The Colts are bad. Frank Reich is pretty close to losing his job at this point, and Matt
Ryan looks washed. If they don’t beat Nathaniel Hackett and the Broncos tonight, this
could be headed towards a dumpster fire.

21. NE (-1)

A nice pleasant surprise this weekend was Bailey Zappe and the Patriots offense putting
24 on the Packers. Granted, they didn’t ask him to do much, but the Patriots still look like
a competent team even without Mac Jones.

22. WAS (-4)

I’m not ready to fully give up on Washington, but man this is a disappointing bunch. Ron
Rivera is probably done after this year, and I have no clue what the future holds for Carson Wentz.

23. DET (=)

Having a top 5 offense means nothing if you can’t play any defense. There’s really no
excuse to let the Seahawks put up 48 on you, as banged-up as the Lions were.

24. NYG (+3)

The Giants are handling their business against bad teams, which is maybe a sign that
the culture is changing, but I need to see more. Daniel Jones still doesn’t look that good
and I refuse to believe that he’s turned the corner.

25. NO (=)

A little bit of life from the Saints offense once Dalton went in, and I don’t think it’s crazy to
say that he’s probably better than Jameis. This is still a bad team but I did see some
flashes on Sunday.

26. NYJ (+3)

The Jets are so much more fun to watch when Zach Wilson is starting. He looked bad for
the first 3 quarters but was outstanding in the 4th. The Jets still aren’t a very good team,
but they may be on the rise.

27. PIT (-1)

Finally we got to see Kenny Pickett, a move that I’ve been calling for since the season
first started. And yeah he threw 3 picks, but he gave that offense more life than Trubisky
ever did.

28. ATL (+2)

Nice win from Atlanta, but does anyone really think the 2-2 Falcons are going anywhere.
This is still a bad football team that plays zero defense and has an obvious limitation at
QB.

29. SEA (+3)

Similar to Atlanta, Seattle is now 2-2 after picking up a win against a below average
team. Geno has been absolutely sensational through 4 games, but we’ll see if that lasts.

30. CAR (-6)

At this point we’re just counting down the days until Matt Rhule is fired. Baker is 33rd in
the league in QBR and the offense is just so sad to watch

31. CHI (-3)

Not going to win too many games with an offense like that. The Bears have by far the
worst 1st down execution in the league. I would be surprised if this team isn’t picking in
the top 5 of the draft.

32. HOU (-1)

With the Raiders win this week, Houston is now the only winless team. I’m not sure that
they do anything well. On the bright side, they will likely have C.J. Stroud at QB next
year, which is pretty exciting.
