	Even in a bye week, a bunch of their nearest competitors falling hard felt like a win.

	The Steelers made a mockery of those of us (guilty) who thought a week off would make Ben Roethlisberger weaker. We are all pawns in his game of injury obfuscation.

	Unconvincing - but in a week where other teams lost, this was an important win. The NFC North is done, call it.

	The big winners this week - the Colts are now in charge of the AFC South and face the Packers in a barn burner (do not burn your barn) this Sunday.

	The Seahawks have a problem. When their offense isn't playing to a ridiculous level, they are vulnerable. They now have a short week against the Cardinals to look forward to...

	Let's not judge them too harshly after losing to New England in a typhoon, but equally, let's. Those conditions should have been perfect for a run first, strong D type o' team and they failed again.

	Not going to rag on Buffalo after a heartbreaker. They're still good and arguably getting better every week.

	We are watching a star emerge. Kyler Murray is beginning to do things that are not just good, but great. The Cardinals are going deep into the playoffs and going to spoil a lot of peoples' days.

	Who are these guys? I don't trust them one bit, but when they're good, they're really good. Big opportunity coming their way thanks to Drew Brees's injury, but the Rams are a stern test...

	Pretty much the 10th best team in the league. I don't think the Raiders are going to cause many shocks if they get to the playoffs, but they have won 4 of their last 5 now and have at least 4 winnable games left to get them there.

	The biggest losers of week 10. The Titans have been fighting an alarming downturn in form for the last 5 weeks. Even their victories against Chicago and Houston were difficult. Beating the Ravens this week is essential.
12	4		7-2
	A mid-season QB injury is never good as we've seen elsewhere. Theoretically, the Saints have a great QB corps, but I'm wary of Jameis Winston as their starter - they are a 'decent' team playing well at the moment. Unbalancing them could be catastrophic.
13			6-3
	Still here. They're one win from the division lead, which wouldn't be crazy given how they've been playing. WIth a nice schedule, they have the inside track if they beat Denver.

	I want to bump them up, but I don't trust them yet. They're like the Bucs, only even more bi-polar. Sunday was as much about the Seahawks' failings catching up with them as the Rams - any team in the NFC West can beat any other, it seems...

	The Browns remain in a holding pattern, but 16 points in two games is not great, even with weather being a factor in both. Like Baltimore, they should be set up to annihilate teams in those conditions and the fact that they didn't isn't encouraging.

	A bonus win for the Patriots, who look set for a worst-of-all-worlds 8-8 finish, a mid-range draft pick, and QB issues for the next few seasons.

	Here come the Vikings. There's a real sense that the Vikes may be able to engineer a playoff run, and beating the Bears is a big step in a crowded NFC race.

	Falling out of the aformentioned NFC playoff picture are the 49ers. Whoever starts for them from here on in between Nick Mullens and CJ Beathard, they're going to be half as good as Jimmy G (who is himself half as good as a top 10 QB).

	Let's be positive here - the Panthers are better than their recent record suggests. They've hung in there with the best teams in the league and held their own. The future is bright.

	The Bears are a better defense than I gave them credit for. The problem is that Nick Foles is arguably worse than anyone thought. I've campaigned for a QB switch back to Trubisky for a month and nothing suggests that wouldn't be the right thing.

	Drew Lock is something, but suggesting he's the long term answer for the Broncos is difficult when he is so erratic. Lock is still very raw and has flashes of brillliance, but the Broncos are settled in this ever shuffling group of mediocre teams.

	WHOAH THERE. The Giants get vertigo as they reach the highest they've been all season. They're not particularly convincing, but mark the improvement in the offense, who are now averaging double the points they averaged over the first 4 weeks of the season.

	The Falcons appear to have turned a corner. The question is whether they really want to go all out towards an unlikely playoff chance, or whether they realize next year could be better with a high draft slot...

	The Bengals are nothing if not brave, but they're lacking talent in a lot of areas and Joe Burrow is very much banging his head against the old 'Rookie Wall'

	Technically the Lions are 4-5 and won, so why are they lower than last week? Because they're yet to look convincing in victory and even struggled against the Washington Football Team and a man with (objectively speaking) one and a half legs playing QB.

	It was a loss, it wasn't good. The problem is that everyone below them is also awful. That's why they're here, no other reason.

	Alright, the Jags are better than they were 3 weeks ago and ran the Packers closer than many expected. It's not saying a lot, but they deserve some credit for the way they've played in both of their last two games, even if both ended in losses.

	Anthony Lynn must know by now that his time is up. The Chargers continually outplay opponents for long periods and yet come away with nothing more often than not. The pieces are there, but they need change at the top.

	Honestly? The Cowboys may still have a shot at the NFC East. Don't count them out. This week they come off their bye and face Minnesota, who will likely make mincemeat of the 32nd ranked rush defense.

	The Eagles are paying the price for not drafting a single defensive player in the first three rounds since 2017. They drafted Jalen Hurts to sit behind Carson Wentz in the second round. That is why they are where they are.

	It was nice to see Alex Smith have a great day on Sunday, and did you know they've given up the least passing yards in the league on average? That's about it for the positives. A loss to Cinci this week would cement their 2020 season as a write-off.

	Week 10 was the Jets' best of the 2020 season. They were on a bye.
