Week 3 saw some big wins, but also some frustration as we ended up with a small loss. There were only 4 upsets in the whole NFL slate last week, and we predicted 3 of them, and had another cover, so there are huge positives, but the blowout nature of many games hurt our cover picks.
I sent an email and notification about the Colts on Sunday, and they delivered! It wasn't pretty, but it was a huge +310 win, our biggest of the season. We also correctly predicted the Steelers winning, and the Texans covering against Jacksonville.
We also predicted the Chargers win as underdogs on Thursday, but because I didn't include it in the underdog picks section, I haven't counted it as profit. If you got on that, you'll have finished the week up by $50 or so.
It's hard not to feel a tiny bit screwed by the Bengals starting Joe Burrow on Monday night. The Rams were our pick, on the basis that Joe Burrow was unlikely to play, and if he did, was likely to be severely limited. That all changed, and it was clear on Monday night that the Bengals had played the Rams - and us - for fools. Had Jake Browning played, we'd have finished heavily in profit.
