After a few weeks where some tight games went against us, it was nice to have a big week where our top picks returned a 3-1 week, and we also nailed 3 covers on top of this - the first time we’ve picked covers all year. 

Most pleasingly, a lot of our analysis was also very close.

Top picks

We won 3 of our 4 picks, the Eagles (+125), Cardinals (+175), and Commanders (+125, signposted before the odds switched). The Saints let us down, but that was a long odds pick and I can live with that, as they had a shot to keep it tight at one stage,. This yielded a profit of 16.5 units on the week.

All underdog picks

We picked 3 covers last week as the Patriots, Colts and Jaguars were all near-misses in our rankings. In the end, the Patriots even managed a win, but what was pleasing was that both the Colts and Jags both lost in a manner that we thought likely, right down to our assessment that the Jags would probably have a 4th quarter lead and blow it. Those picks, plus a Cowboys loss, returned +8.5 units more, meaning that for all underdog picks, including Top picks, leans, and covers, we went +25 units on the week.
